This year Middlewich FAB Festival has evolved and offers great new opportunities for crafts and traders. Organisers have introduced three specified areas on the main stage site comprising artisan food and crafts marquees alongside a new food court and bar area, plus a new dedicated retail zone for higher-end products and services.

‘Wish Upon A Sparkle’, who first participated in Middlewich FAB Festival last year, has expanded and will have three booths this year, after experiencing the benefits of being part of this beloved community event. Visitors from across the UK are constantly attracted to the array of performances, activities, food booths, and drink stalls at FAB Festival 2017 allowing traders to reach a larger crowd and raise greater brand awareness.

Clare Cherry, Managing Director of ’Wish upon a Sparkle’ comments, “Being involved with such a successful and fun-filled festival had to become a bookmark in our calendar and we cannot wait to be included in a bigger atmosphere this year.” Clare continues, “FAB Festival has been a joy to participate in and has truly proven to be beneficial to our company. We plan to participate in Middlewich FAB Festival for many years to come.”

FAB Festival event organiser, Dave Thompson comments, “With the support of the fire/safety officer, we’ve made some significant changes to the layout on the main site Market Field, allowing more room for audiences. Each year, as the festival continues to evolve, we have to consider the site layout to ensure that safety comes first for everyone.

The bulk of FAB Festival traders will be concentrated in and around the marquees on the main festival site, Market Field. Some old favourites will still be there with many new stallholders taking part. We especially want to encourage more artisan food and crafts from the Cheshire/North West area to showcase their work, and to promote what we have on our doorstep.

Dave continues, “We still want to include and support local charities and boat clubs and now they have the opportunity to promote themselves on the field alongside the canal, next to Andersen Boats and on Town Wharf, which are both central locations attracting a high number of visitors. With a variety of activities, crafts and kids rides these sites enjoy increasingly more footfall over the weekend to/from the Canal Trip Boat, floating market, boat rally and fringe venues.”

With the announcement of ‘Lightning Seeds’ headlining the Friday night ticketed concert followed by ‘The Sundowners’ headlining the Saturday night free concert, FAB Festival is set to generate a lot of excitement and visitors from all around. Also present on the main festival site Market Field will be the platinum sponsor of this year’s festival, national award winning renewable energy company, Hero Renewables, which enables businesses and communities to aid the UK’s transition to a green economy. Early bird tickets for ‘Lightning Seeds’ Friday night concert can be purchased at the reduced rate of £17.50 per person and £50 for a family ticket here.
