Middlewich, Cheshire: Middlewich FAB Festival is proud to announce their partnership with radio providers The Dee Radio Group, comprising of Cheshire’s Silk 106.9, Chester’s Dee 106.3, Love 80s Manchester and Love 80s Liverpool who broadcast to 3.5 million people across the North West region.
As Middlewich FAB Festival evolves, the organisers wanted to give more attention to community engagement and interact with the festival goers, as well as creating an on-going aura of excitement. This year, Cheshire’s Silk 106.9 presenters will act as ‘Masters of Ceremonies’ on the main stage throughout the festival from the opening of Friday night’s ticketed concert to close on Sunday evening. In addition, Cheshire’s Silk 106.9 will be presenting throughout the town centre, which will be sure to maintain a high level of activity during the daytime of the festival throughout Middlewich.
Jonathan Williams, Middlewich Town Council Clerk, states, “We are very excited to have Cheshire’s Silk 106.9 join us for Middlewich FAB Festival 2018. They really understand the spirit of the festival, and the importance of supporting our local business and resident communities.”
David Flavell, Station Manager, comments, “Middlewich FAB Festival has grown into one of the largest festivals in our region and we are proud to have the opportunity to be involved. We are looking forward to hosting the main stage during the three day event and being able to reach out to the participants and visitors at the festival.”
This year’s headline act for Friday night’s ticketed concert is ‘Peter Hook & The Light’, founding member of world acclaimed bands Joy Division and New Order. There has already been a huge amount of interest and ticket sales, which indicates that there will be yet again a crowd of thousands attending Middlewich FAB Festival 2018.
Early bird tickets for ‘Peter Hook & The Light’ at Friday night ’s concert can be purchased at the reduced rate of £19.50 per person and £57.50 for a family ticket (for two adults and three children under 16 years old) at www.fabfestival.co.uk until 3rd April 2018.
