2019-  MOORING 12-17 JUNE

Celebrating Middlewich's canal heritage and natural assets, the floating market will be back in full force this year after the repair works to the Shropshire Union canal. Stretching from Town Bridge to The Big Lock the market is a real spectacle with brightly-coloured boats selling everything from cakes and crafts to ironwork and paintings.

Boaters

Plans for our 29th festival are going well and we hope you can join us – you will be most welcome.¬†Following last year’s success we will repeat the informal/free moorings for visiting boaters.

Visiting boats can moor in three locations: On the Trent & Mersey canal – below Big Lock or above Kings Lock, On the Shropshire Union – above Wardle.

Middlewich Town Council is determined to keep the festival `free to all`wherever possible, despite increasing costs and reduced funding.

BOATERS are a BIG part of our FAB festival and we will do all we can to accommodate you and make you welcome.

FAB Festival Floating Market- reserved moorings are between Town Bridge & Big Lock.
